By Alyssa

LAMPIRE has added COVID-19 recombinant proteins and RNA lysis buffer to its product portfolio. These components of SARS CoV-2 include full-length trimeric peak, S1 glycoproteins, nucleocapsid, receptor-binding domain, and ACE2 proteins. These proteins are NOW AVAILABLE for research use only.

Coronaviruses are a group of viruses at the origin of several recent outbreaks, including SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) in 2003, MERS (Middle East respiratory syndrome) in 2012, and most recently the COVID-19 outbreak, the disease caused by SARS. -CoV-2 virus. Our collection of anti-coronavirus antibodies was obtained in large part from sequencing B cells from human patients. In addition to the original human IgG1 antibodies, recombinant antibody technology has enabled the production of several formats designed to open up new experimental possibilities for in vitro and in vivo use.

This year, the anti-SARS clone CR3022 was shown to have a high affinity for what was then named 2019-nCoV. The clone is already available in our catalog in formats such as IgM, IgA, antibody fragments, and IgG in different species and isotypes. You can learn more about the CR3022 clone in our blog post here.

The Absolute Antibody team is working hard to support coronavirus research and therapeutic development by supplying related reagents to customers around the world, as well as providing antibody manufacturing and engineering services. We continue to add new reagents to our catalog, including recombinant anti-human immunoglobulin antibodies for COVID-19 diagnosis and ACE2 Fc fusion proteins. Read about the coronavirus work being done at our company here and download our brochure Recombinant Antibodies to Coronavirus here.
